Genesis: Tony, Mike and Phil

La primera alineaciónde ésta banda contó con Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford, Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett y Anthony Phillips, resultado de la unión de dos (2) bandas escolares llamadas "garden Wall" y "The Anon". Deciden juntarse en el año 66 y llaman a su nueva banda "The New Anon" . En remplazo de Anthony Phillips ingresa Phil Collins, baterista. Lo demás , es historia.

You can't hurry love, 1982. Cover del original con el mismo nombre, interpretado por las Supremes en 1966.

Don't care anymore, mismo álbum, mismo año.

Against all odds ( take a look at me now), canción principal de la banda sonora de la película "Against all odds", año 1984.

En el 85 lanzó "No jacket required", en el que contó con Sting y Peter Gabriel en los coros.

Su más reciente trabajo es una delicia. "Going back" fue lanzado en el 2010. En él hace covers de algunas canciones de la Motown.

• "(Love Is Like a) Heatwave" original de Martha and the Vandellas, 1963.
• "Uptight (Everything's Alright), originalmente interpretado por Stevie Wonder, en el año 65.
• "Some of Your Lovin" letra de Carole King e interpretada por Dusty Springfield.
• "In My Lonely Room", otra vez Martha and the Vandellas.
• "Take Me in Your Arms (Rock Me for a Little While), interpretada por Kim Weston y posteriormente por los Doobie Brothers.
• "Blame It on the Sun". Aquí Phil se presenta el Jools Holland. Su original es de Stevie Wonder, año 1972. 
• "Papa Was a Rolling Stone". Ésta se escuchó primero en las voces del grupo The Temptation.
• "Never Dreamed You'd Leave in Summer" otra estupenda canción del chico maravilla, Stevie Wonder.
• "Standing in the Shadows of Love", sus intérpretes originales hacían parte del grupo "Four tops". 
• "Do I Love You", del cantante Frank Wilson.
• "Jimmy Mack", otra canción de Martha and the Vandellas.
• "Something About You", otro cover del grupo "Four Tops"
• "Love Is Here and Now You're Gone", originalmente interpretada por Diana Ross y su combo "The Supremes"
